Polybraid and Turbo Wire, Tape and Rope
What is Turbo?
High conductive Turbo Braided Wire, Turbo Wire, Turbo Tape and
Turbo Rope are ideal for longer fences:
Turbo Products have the optimum combination of stainless steel
and high conductive metal strands.
 | the stainless steel provides strength and durability.
 | the high conductive metal strands provide low resistance
(high conductivity) for extra power down the fence. |
|
Caution: Products made only with high conductive metal strands,
like copper, are likely to work harden and break.
 |
Tape is generally used where
visibility is important. Our Tiger Tape range (not
shown below) has nature's warning signs: stripes. Proven to
be more effective in deterring stock.
|
 |
Polywire/Turbowire is preferable
where wind or adverse weather conditions would
"work" a tape to death.
|
 |
Braid is a woven product designed not
to tangle or stretch. It is not available in all countries.

|
To illustrate the High Conductivity of Turbo:
This chart shows, for each poly and Turbo product, the
predicted voltage at the end of a 1km fence, if the voltage at
the beginning of the fence is 8000 volts.
Turbo products have a significantly greater voltage compared
with Poly products after 100m (328ft) and 1km (3/5 mile)
